Started from the cornfields, now we here.
Hey there! I'm Joshua, a New York based performer hailing from the cornfields of Sunbury, Ohio.
After graduating high school, I left the countryside and moved to Pittsburgh, PA where I attended Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts. I graduated in three years and received my Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre.
I have worked at regional theaters from the Midwest to the East Coast at venues such as The Pittsburgh CLO, The New Hazlett Theatre, The Pittsburgh Playhouse, Axelrod Performing Arts Center, Short North Stage, and Weathervane Playhouse.
While in New York City, I have had the opportunity to perform in a number of cabarets and benefit concerts at Feinstein’s/54 Below, The Cutting Room, Don’t Tell Mama, and in the 32nd Annual Easter Bonnet Competition at the Minskoff Theater, representing Broadway Green Alliance, Broadway Serves, and R.Evolución Latina.
In 2018, I made my professional film debut in Fries & Beans, a short film that premiered at the 71st Annual Cannes Film Festival in the Short Film Corner. I starred in the role of Artist in this touching short film about love and friendship in an ever-changing world.
More recently, I consistently perform as a vocalist with Norwegian Creative Studios aboard their many vessels — currently the Regent Seven Seas Navigator — where I have been able to bring my talents to audiences around the world.
When I am not at sea you can catch me singing in jazz venues across Cincinnati with Queen Bee Cabaret.
